The Penn State AAC Community is seeking participants for a research study with persons who use AAC, about relationships, and sexuality.
A wide range of learning opportunities are designed to prepare future SLPs to provide high quality evidence-based services to children who have complex communication needs.
As a guest to the graduate seminar, “Working effectively with individuals who require AAC, and their families,” Chris Klein reached, taught, and inspired students on multiple levels.
The results of this study contribute to the existing literature that suggests higher expectations for adolescents with severe developmental disabilities with appropriately designed interventions and opportunities for increased communication.
Penn State faculty and students will be presenting at the 16th Biennial ISAAC conference in Lisbon, Portugal (July 19 – 24th, 2014) . We were so glad to have this opportunity to talk and learn with everyone!
