Communication Takes Care: PSU Master Students "Reach for the Stars"

This May, we are pleased to re-visit some of the different clinical practicum learning experiences on-going in the PSU AAC Community.  
In addition to specialized coursework such as Advanced Seminar which provides experiences ranging from technical skills to presentations and teaching, Master students have opportunities with the PSU Clinic:
– providing intervention with individuals who have complex communication needs across the lifespan of early intervention, school age and adolescent learners, and adults;
– participating in teamwork collaboration for comprehensive assessment for persons who may benefit from multimodal strategies and supports; and
– presenting case profiles within our Colloquium for group problem-solving and support.  Not only does this allow us to build knowledge together within our community, it allows for mentorship with faculty and PhD scholars across consideration and advances in understanding for AAC interventions.
