Supporting Communication through Performance

The Penn State News article, New inclusive course culminates in spring performances” (March 29, 2017), highlighted an incredible range of learning opportunities and experiences for PSU students studying Communication Sciences and Disorders:  exploring how evidence-based practices for language support can be incorporated into fun and age-appropriate activities, characteristics of self-presentation and strategies to encourage effective use of skills, and how performance and communication are interlinked.

 

The course includes two final performances which are free and open to the public:

9 a.m., April 21, Café Laura, Mateer Building
6:30 p.m., April 25, Ruth Pike Auditorium, Biobehavioral Health Building
