Abstract:
This systematic review evaluated the effect of parent responsivity training interventions on communication/language skills of young children with complex communication needs and developmental disabilities. Nineteen group design studies were analyzed. Training components, parent and child characteristics, outcome variables, quality of evidence, clinical implications, and future research directions are reported.
