There is truly no better time than ASHA’s Communication Takes Care initiative this May to recognize Dr. Erinn Finke. With her many years focus on improving communication outcomes and enhancing quality of life for individuals who have ASD and/or complex communication needs and require AAC, we are glad to acknowledge her promotion to associate professor at PSU.
AAC Applications for Beginning Communicators: Design and Application — Presentation
This PSHA 2016 highlighted presentation focused on: the design of aided augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems specifically for beginning communicators across a range of ages, a model for conceptualizing systems, and research on interventions in support of AAC with persons who have complex communication needs as well as with educational professionals.
