Celebrating this wonderful recognition of Kelsey’s work!
In recognition of the hard work and achievement of Penn State doctoral student, Dr. Michelle Therrien!
Penn State faculty and students are excited to be at the ASHA 2016 conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: November 17-19th. We’ll see you soon!
Intervention is needed to support peer interactions for young children who use AAC, so they can increase quality of life and realize the benefits of social relationships. Dr. Therrien’s work advances understanding about effective instruction and multimodal means that build opportunities for children with CCN and peers to interact.
It is an exciting time to reflect on everything that has been accomplished With the AAC Leadership Project. It is phenomenal the impact that these doctoral scholars have had to improve outcomes for individuals with complex communication needs.
So much has happened since last May, and it ultimately comes to this: We are honored to acknowledge the incredible achievements of Dr. Nimisha Muttiah.
