Eskin & Caron (2018) Handout (pdf)
Abstract: Communication partners play an important role in supporting individuals who use AAC. SLPs must collaborate with communication partners, including paraeducators to best support these individuals. 90 paraeducators completed a survey regarding their role in supporting students who use AAC, and training they have received. Results are discussed, including recommendations.
