As we continue our recruitment efforts for the AAC Leadership Project, we want to step back and celebrate the impressive accomplishments of our scholars to-date!
Since 2011, a total of 12 scholars have been funded through the doctoral grant. They have contributed significantly to the field in the areas of research, teaching, and evidence-based practices in AAC.
Our scholars are trained to not only conduct important research in the area of AAC, but to effectively disseminate their findings. The 12 scholars have contributed multiple peer-reviewed papers/posters at state and national conferences and peer-reviewed publications in top journals. Many have also received internal and external research grants to conduct research in the area of AAC.
Our scholars have also been trained in effective teaching practices, with over 100 courses taught at the undergraduate and graduate level and high-quality teaching ratings from both students and employers.
We couldn’t be prouder of our scholars’ successes! For a closer look at the numbers, click on the image.
