Congratulations to Jessica Gormley who received the 2018 Emerging Researcher Award from the International Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ISAAC)!
This award comes in recognition of Jessica’s hard work establishing a significant line of research to improve outcomes for children with complex communication needs in pediatric rehab centers. Jessica was able to share some of this research at the 2018 Biennial ISAAC Conference in Gold Coast, Australia in July, which can be found below.
In addition to Jessica’s interest in pediatric rehab, she is involved in other projects, including the use of video VSD technology to enhance the communication skills of individuals with complex communication needs. She was also able to share this research at the ISAAC conference, found below.
