Dr. Jessica Caron will be the first of the Spring series of Research Unplugged at Schlow Centre Region Library with her presentation, “Breaking the Silence: New Approaches for Children with Speech Disorders” (March 17, 2016).
Dr. Caron’s discussion will include the research to-date from the PSU AAC Community with respect to how AAC interventions can support communication and literacy. She incorporates case examples and stories to illustrate strategies and technologies that are opening doors for children with severe speech disorders.
