The master’s students had a busy Spring semester providing AAC intervention and assessment services both in the on-campus clinic and in the community.
Boyle et al. completed a systematic review to investigate the impact of shared reading on early language and literacy skills for children with ASD.
Mandak et al. completed a systematic review to investigate the effects of instruction on single-word reading for individuals who use AAC.
At the 2019 ATIA Conference, Drager, Holyfield and Caron discussed evidence-based strategies for implementing AAC with beginning communicators, including the use of VSDs.
