Congratulations to Dr Jessica Gossnell Caron, who received her diploma in graduation ceremonies on Sunday
We are thrilled to celebrate Dr. Jessica Gosnell Caron and her outstanding accomplishments!
This study aimed to expand the current understanding of how persons with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (pALS) use augmentative and alternative communication and social media to address their communication needs.
Jessica Caron and Janice Light report the results of an online focus group that was used to investigate the experiences of nine individuals with cerebral palsy who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and social media.
Jess’ research interests include (a) improvement of literacy outcomes; (b) enhancement of display design for high tech communication methods; and (c) expansion of social networks and communication modalities (e.g. access to social media), for persons who use AAC.
